Photos : 11,000 Troops, Т-34–85 Tank, Aurus Convertible, Took Part In Russia’s Victory Parade
Russia on Monday, May 9th marked the 77th anniversary of Victory in the 1941–1945 Great Patriotic War.
Over 10,000 troops participated in Russia’s Victory Parade, along with armored vehicles and Aurus Convertible.





President of Russia, Vladimir Putin attended a military parade on Monday, May 9th to mark the 77th anniversary of Victory in the 1941–1945 Great Patriotic War.
The parade through Red Square featured 11,000 service members and marching columns which comprised 33 parade units of officers.









The marching columns represented all branches of Russia’s Armed Forces, including airborne troops, military police, national guardsmen and cadets.
More than 130 armored vehicles and equipments led by the iconic Т-34–85 Victory Tank as well as the Aurus Convertibles took part in the parade. The Т-34–85 Victory Tank was one of the main ‘workhorses’ of the Red Army during the war.





The mechanised column also featured Taifun-K, Taifun-VDV and Tigr-M armoured vehicles, BMP-2 Berezhok, BMP-3 and Kurganets-25 infantry fighting vehicles and T-72B3M.
Others are Т-90М Proryv and the latest Т-14 Armata tanks, Т-14 Armata tanks, Tornado-G rocket systems, Iskander-M operational tactical missile systems, S-400 Triumf, Buk-M3 and Tor-M2 air defence systems.
