Armored Mercedes-Maybach S 650 sedan joins Uganda President Yoweri Museveni’s impressive presidential fleet.

He turned up at Kololo Independence Ground earlier this month in the new wheels, where he gave the State-of-the-Nation address.

Cars in the presidential fleet also includes Toyota Land Cruisers and two armoured Mercedes-Benz Pullman sedans.

77-year-old Yoweri Museveni began his sixth term as president of Uganda in May last year.





The Ugandan leader was chauffeured to the swearing-in ceremony in a Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan. 

Museveni, who took power as a rebel leader in 1986, has already ruled the East African country for 36 years.

Uganda President Yoweri Museveni turned up at Kololo Independence Ground earlier this month in a brand new armoured Mercedes-Maybach limousine, where he gave the State-of-the-Nation address.

The stretched Mercedes-Maybach luxury sedan is the latest addition to his impressive presidential fleet that also includes Toyota Land Cruisers and two armoured Mercedes-Benz Pullman sedans.





Specially designed for the Ugandan number one citizen, the Mercedes-Maybach limousine, in addition to wearing armour plates, provides spacious seating in first-class comfort for high-ranking passengers.

Speaking at Kololo independence grounds on Tuesday, the president mentioned a number of ongoing projects, including government-owned enterprise, Kiira Motors Corporation, which he said has started producing buses and other vehicles.

Yoweri Museveni began his sixth term as president of Uganda in May last year. He was chauffeured to the swearing-in ceremony in a bulletproof Mercedes-Benz S-Class. After taking the oath of office, he had cruise in an open topped SUV.

The 77-year-old Ugandan leader, who took power as a rebel leader in 1986, has already ruled the East African country for 36 years.
