More Photos Of Locally-assembled M-Hero 917 Electric SUV That Is Set To Rule Nigerian Roads



Nigeria’s electric vehicle assembler, SAGLEV Motors has officially launched the MHERO 917 5-seater electric SUV into the lucrative Nigerian automotive market.



As part of partnership with China’s Dongfeng Automobile Co. Ltd., SAGLEV will locally assembled the M-Hero 917 at its plant in Lagos, Nigeria.



Known in some markets as M-Hero 1, Nigerian-assembled M-Hero 917 comes in Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and the Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) variants.



The BEV variant of 917 is equipped four electric motors and a battery-pack that allows a range up to 450 km (280 miles) per charge.




804-hp EREV (Hybrid Model) version of the hulking SUV has a petrol engine as a generator, which powers 3 motors. It boasts a total range of 750 km (466 miles).
