2024 Lexus GX utilizes a body-on-frame TNGA-F architecture used in the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, Sequoia, and Lexus LX 600.
Land Cruiser-based 2024 GX will be offered in six grades: Premium, Premium+, Luxury, Luxury+, Overtrail grades, the Overtrail and Overtrail+.
Pricing hasn’t been announced, but the all-new Lexus GX SUV is expected to arrive in the markets in early 2024.
Toyota luxury brand, Lexus, has unveiled the all-new 2024 Lexus GX, a completely redesigned SUV that enthusiasts have praised for its legendary off-road capability and its ability to tackle rough terrains since its arrival 20 years ago.
Redesigned from the ground up, the all-new GX body-on-frame SUV now features an unmistakably aggressive exterior design that exudes the tough, rugged persona that it has earned time and time again.
“For more than two decades, the GX has bridged the gap between legendary off-road capability and luxurious everyday driving,” said Dejuan Ross, group vice president and general manager, Lexus division.
“The GX is a critical piece in the evolution of the Next Chapter for Lexus, and with new powertrains, an impressive host of premium features, and the all-new Overtrail grade, the 2024 GX has something for everyone.”
The Toyota Land Cruiser-based 3rd-generation 2024 GX luxury SUV will be offered in six grades: Premium, Premium+, Luxury, Luxury+ and a first-ever Overtrail grades, the Overtrail and Overtrail+, which is an all-new for Lexus.

The 2024 Lexus GX utilizes a body-on-frame TNGA-F architecture used in the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, Sequoia, and Lexus LX 600. Unlike the previous generation, the 2024 GX features a new bold square-body profile designed that aids off-roading functionality.
Like all latest Lexus’ SUVs, including the LX and the first-ever TX, the all-new GX has all the brand’s touches, including the Spindle Grille at the front and a signature unified L-shaped light bar at the rear.
The all-new GX’s driver-focused cockpit features a new 14.0-inch touchscreen and a digital 12.3-inch Multi-Information Display (MID), which replaces the analog dials, while an Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come as standard.
Other features inside the tech-filled interior include six illuminated charging ports (four in Overtrail), a wireless charger that is available in the front console tray and up to 12 cup holders.
The 2024 GX comes standard with a 10-speaker premium surround sound system, while additional options like Digital Key, Cool Box, Head-Up Display, Traffic Jam Assist**, Cold Area Package and Tonneau Cover are also available.
The all-new GX will be offered in two powertrain options, including a standard twin-turbocharged 3.4L V6 engine that produces an improved 349 horsepower, which outperforms the previous generation V8’s 301-hp . Lexus said a hybrid powertrain will be available at a later date.
Pricing hasn’t been announced, but the all-new GX is expected to arrive in the markets in early 2024.
