Porsche Delivered 320,221 Sports Cars In 2023, Strong Growth For 911 And Taycan
Porsche AG says it delivered 320,221 vehicles to customers in 2023, an increase of 3% compared to 309,884 units in 2022.
911 recorded largest growth in 2023 with 50,146 deliveries (+ 24%) while 40,629 customers took delivery of Taycan (+17%).
Porsche Cayenne SUV was the best-selling model in 2023 with 87,553 (-8 per cent) while Macan was delivered to 87,355 customers.
North America was Porsche’s largest sales region in 2023 with 86,059 deliveries (+9%), while 79,283 cars were handed to customers in China (-15%).

Stuttgart sports car manufacturer, Porsche AG on Friday reported record sales figures for year 2023, including deliveries of a total of 320,221 cars across the world over the past 12 months – which is three per cent more than the 309,884 units delivered in 2022.
Last year, the German brand delivered 70,229 cars (+12%) in Europe (excluding Germany), while 32,430 customers took delivery of new Porsche cars in home market of Germany – which is an increase of 10 per cent.
North America was Porsche’s largest sales region in 2023 with 86,059 deliveries (+9 per cent), while the keys to 79,283 cars were handed to customers in China (-15 per cent) – decline mainly due to the ongoing challenging economic situation in the region.

“Even in times of global economic uncertainty, our brand remains desirable and exclusive,” says Detlev von Platen, Member of the Executive Board for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG.
“Last year we benefited in particular from Porsche’s very balanced position in its largest sales regions. We will continue to optimise this harmonious market distribution.”
The Porsche 911 sports car recorded the largest increase of all model lines in 2023, with 50,146 deliveries (+ 24 per cent) while 40,629 customers took delivery of Taycan (+17 per cent).
The Cayenne SUV was the best-selling model in 2023 with 87,553 (-8 per cent). Macan was delivered to 87,355 customers while the 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman models posted 20,518 deliveries (+13 per cent).
