Soludo Continues To Keep To Campaign Promises, Rides In Innoson IVM G80 SUV, Wears Akwete
Governor Soludo of Anambra continues to keep to his campaign promises, rides in Innoson IVM G80 SUV, wears Akwete.
One of his campaign promises is to patronise Made-in-Nigeria goods aimed at promoting and supporting locally-made brands.
Now, he has ditched foreign-made luxury cars as official vehicle, in favor of locally-built Innoson IVM G80 SUV.

Two years after inauguration, Governor of Anambra State Chukwuma Soludo has continued to keep to his campaign promises, which includes patronising Made-in-Nigeria goods aimed at promoting and supporting locally-made brands.
In a recent outing, Soludo was pictured dressed in locally-made Akwete. He has also ditched foreign-made luxury rides as official vehicle, in favor of locally-built Innoson IVM G80 SUV.

It will be recalled that Soludo, in his inaugural speech, explained that his administration will always patronise products and services made in Anambra, unless such goods or services are not currently made in the State.
“The Anambra State Government will only patronise made in Anambra products and services unless such goods or services and re not currently made in Anambra, then made in Nigeria, Africa, etc, in that sequence.
“When you see me in Innoson vehicles or in my Akwete dress with a pair of shoes made in Ogbunike/Nkwelle Ezunaka and Onitsha, we are making a statement.

“As part of our “made in Anambra”, cultural renaissance and healthy living agenda, when you come to the Governor’s Lodge or attend any state government’s function, be sure to be served only “Made in Anambra”.
Soludo’s drive to support locally brands has since inspired Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, who recently took delivery of his IVM G80 SUV official vehicle. In addition, most of the vehicles used by the current Abia State Government were purchased from Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing.
