Automobili Lamborghini’s first-ever production model, the 350 GT 2-door coupé, returns to Geneva 60 years after its debut.

First shown as 350 GTV prototype at the 1963 Turin Motor Show, the 350 GT was revealed at the 1964 Geneva Auto Show.

Just 120 examples of the Lamborghini 350GT were made between 1964 and 1966 before being replaced by the 400 GT.

Automobili Lamborghini is back on the streets of Geneva with the Lamborghini 350 GT 2-door coupé (Second Chassis number) sixty (60) years after its debut to celebrate the story of its first production car and the origins of the Sant’Agata Bolognese carmaker’s DNA.

The 350 GT, derived from the first prototype 350 GTV, was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1964. The car exhibited at the Lamborghini stand at Geneva 1964 was the 350 GT chassis #101 in Metallic Geneva Green color and white interior.

According to the brand, 350 GT chassis #101, later used as a test model for development and endurance tests, was unfortunately destroyed by a rear-end collision while stopped at traffic lights.

While the first-ever 350 GT was lost to a crash, the second chassis number in metallic gray in color with red interior did survive and has remained the oldest existing Lamborghini production car, perfectly restored and certified by Lamborghini Polo Storico.

First shown in a concept form as the 350 GTV at the 1963 Turin Motor Show, the Lamborghini first-ever production model, the 350 GT 2-door coupé, was revealed by the Italian sports car brand at the 1964 Geneva Auto Show.

The 350GT was powered by a de-tuned 270bhp 3.5-litre V12 engine, mated to a five-speed manual transmission, allowing it to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 6.8 seconds and onto a top-speed of 158 mph – which was an impressive figures for a sports car in its day.

Just 120 examples of the Lamborghini 350 GT were made between 1964 and 1966 before being replaced by the 400 GT. The 400 GT was also replaced by prototype P400, the latter which went into production the following year under the name, Miura.
