Tiger Woods Charged With “Driving Under Influence” Following Range Rover Rollover Crash
Golf legend Tiger Woods charged with “Driving Under Influence” following Range Rover rollover crash.
While breath test showed he wasn’t under the influence of alcohol, the 50 year old refused to submit to a urine test.
This crash is Woods’ second in 5 years. His Genesis GV80 SUV rolled several times in 2021, leaving him trapped in the car.

Golf legend Tiger Woods has been released on bail after being charged with Driving Under the Influence (DUI) following his involvement in a rollover crash near his Florida home on Friday March 27.
The 15-time major winner who had been driving at “high speed” reportedly rolled over his Range Rover SUV after hitting a pickup truck towing a trailer while trying to overtake the latter.

While Wood and the other driver walked away unhurt, the 50 year old golfer was charged with property damage for his refusal to submit to a urine test. His breath test showed that he was not under the influence of alcohol, according to Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek.
“Mr Woods did a breathalyser test with triple zeros, but when it came time for us to ask for a urinary analysis test, he refused and so he has been charged with DUI, property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.”

This crash is Woods’ second in 5 years. In February 2021, the 15-time major champion suffered multiple leg injuries in a one-car crash outside of Los Angeles after his Genesis GV80 SUV rolled several times and left him trapped in the car.
I’m lucky to be alive and also have a limb,” Wood said at the 2021 Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas, noting it was 50-50 as to whether part of his right leg could have been amputated.
