Mysterious Chinese-made SUVs With Huge Custom Roofs Featured In Trump’s Motorcade In Beijing
Head-turning Chinese-made Hongqi SUVs with huge custom roofs seen guarding Trump’s motorcade in Beijing.

They are likely operated by the Chinese government as the U.S. Secret Service confirmed to TWZ it was not the operator of the SUVs.

A pair of heavily modified Chinese-made Hongqi luxury SUVs with huge custom roofs were spotted rolling among several vehicles in President Donald Trump’s motorcade during his recent trip to China.
First spotted as Trump’s motorcade moved through the Chinese capital on May 13, the two high-top SUVs are based on Hongqi LS7, though equipped with what is believed to be Electronic Warfare (EW) systems to counter threats.

The two vehicles are likely operated by the Chinese government as the U.S. Secret Service confirmed to The War Zone (TWZ) it was not the operator of the SUVs and declined to say whether they belonged to the U.S. Embassy or Beijing.
“It has only been confirmed that these Hongqi SUVs are not part of the U.S. President’s Secret Service. It is unclear whether they are operated by the U.S. Embassy in Beijing or belong to the Chinese government,” the U.S. military specialist media outlet, TWZ, stated.

Like it does during foreign trips, the U.S. Secret Service shipped the two Armored US presidential cars – The Beast – to Beijing, along with heavily modified Chevrolet Suburbans, but with slightly raised roof and an array of antennas, compared to China’s own seen in the motorcade.
Also seen in Trump’s long vehicle procession during his two-day visit to Beijing from May 13 to 15 were Secret Service operated U.S.-made Lincoln Navigator SUVs and Ford vans with extensively modified roofs.
