All-new Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear is a 1,675-hp track-focused hypercar limited to just 30, sold out at private unveiling.

Sadair’s Spear is named after Jesko von Koenigsegg’s favourite racehorse, which the founder’s dad rode in his final race in 1976.

Features an elongated rear-end design, a wider track-oriented tyres and a top-mounted double-blade active rear wing.

During initial shake-down tests at Gotland Ring, Sadair’s Spear shattered Jesko Attack’s record by an impressive 1.1 seconds.

Koenigsegg Automotive AB has unveiled its latest car called the Sadair’s Spear. An improvement from the Jesko, the track-focused 1,675-hp hypercar is designed to deliver an extraordinary combination of blistering track capability and full road legality.

The Swedish Swedish manufacturer of high-performance sports cars said Sadair’s Spear is named after Jesko von Koenigsegg’s favourite racehorse, which the passionate gentleman jockey and the founder’s dad rode in his final race in 1976.

“Sadair’s Spear represents a natural progression for Koenigsegg—an impeccable balance of raw power, refined aerodynamics, and extraordinary road presence. This car is destined to set records. Achieving such track dominance in a fully road-legal vehicle is nothing short of remarkable,” said Christian von Koenigsegg.

Exterior features includes an elongated rear-end design to enhance aerodynamic efficiency and stability, an upgraded wider, track-oriented tyres for exceptional grip and a new top-mounted double-blade active rear wing optimized for increased downforce.

Sadair’s Spear track-focused interior features lightweight, minimalist center console, carbon fibre seats and a standard three-point seat belts, which can be optionally upgraded to 6-point racing harness.

Koenigsegg’s hallmark comforts features inside includes steering-mounted SmartCluster display, SmartCenter command interface, USB connectivity, inductive phone charging and birds-eye parking assist.

Powering Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear is the brand’s formidable twin-turbo V8 engine, which delivers an output of 1,300-hp on regular unleaded fuel and up to 1,625-hp when running on eco-friendly ethanol-rich E85 fuel.

During initial shake-down tests at Gotland Ring, the Swedish manufacturer of high-performance sports cars said Sadair’s Spear shattered the previous lap record set by the Jesko Attack by an impressive 1.1 seconds.

Thinking of getting one? Koenigsegg is limiting Sadair’s Spear production to just 30 units and despite a reported purchase price north of $5 million, all examples was instantly sold upon its private unveiling.
