Anambra Airport: Obiano Welcomes First Embraer 195-E2 Aircraft

At the Anambra International Airport in Umueri, Governor Willie Obiano and senior government officials greeted the first group of travelers aboard the first Embraer 195-e2 aircraft to land at the airport.
The first Embraer 195-e2 aircraft arrived at the airport, and passengers were greeted.
This comes after the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority approved the operation of Boeing 737-700 or equivalent aircraft at the Anambra International Airport in Umueri.

The plane arrived in Lagos with 124 passengers, and the governor greeted everyone, including the pilot, with a handshake.
Air Peace Airline, one of Nigeria’s leading carriers, landed successfully at Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, Umueri, after flying from Lagos.
“This is a wonderful day,” he added, “and that is why I came to greet the first group of passengers that arrived on this aircraft via a larger plane.”
