Limited-edition Aston Martin Valour with V12 engine, manual gearbox unveiled to celebrate brand’s 110th anniversary.
Inspired by the original V8 Vantage and magnificent Vantage-based RHAM/1 ‘Muncher’ Le Mans racer from 1980.
Powering it is a twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre V12 engine, which produces 705 horsepower and a 753 N.m of torque.
Production of the V12-powered Aston Martin Valour sports car is limited to just 110 units globally.
British luxury marque Aston Martin has revealed the limited-edition Valour, a spectacular, ultra-exclusive V12-engined, manual transmission special edition built to celebrate the brand’s 110th anniversary.
Aimed squarely at those who relish a truly involving driving experience, the Aston Martin Valour honours brand’s unique tradition of superlative special edition front-engined sportscars.
The Valour is inspired by the original V8 Vantage and magnificent Vantage-based RHAM/1 ‘Muncher’ Le Mans racer from 1980 while its immaculate design echoes that of the One-77 supercar.
“Valour is a celebration of Aston Martin’s passion for driving and extraordinary heritage, but it is also emblematic of today’s vibrant and revitalised brand”, said Aston Martin Executive Chairman, Lawrence Stroll, while speaking of the thrilling new special edition.
Adding that :
“A showcase for our world-class design, engineering and manufacturing capabilities, Valour is further proof of Aston Martin’s position as the driver’s champion and maker of the world’s most exciting, exclusive and desirable ultra-luxury high-performance cars”.
The Valour comes with three Driving Modes – Sport, Sport+ and Track. For inspired handling and road-holding in wet or dry conditions, it is fitted with the AML-specific Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 tyres – 275/35 R21 front tyres and 325/30 R21 on the rear.
Powering it is a twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre V12 engine, which produces 715PS (705 horsepower) and a 753 N.m of torque. It is mated to a bespoke six-speed manual transmission.
It’s unknown how much customers will pay for the limited-edition car, but with production limited to just 110 cars globally, its rarity ensures it will be amongst the most collectable of all Aston Martins.
Production of the Aston Martin Valour sports car is scheduled to begin this quarter, with customer deliveries set to begin in the last quarter of 2023.
