BMW Group Delivered Record 2,555,341 BMW, MINI And Rolls-Royce Vehicles In 2023

BMW Group Sold 1.2 Million BMW, Rolls-Royce And MINI Vehicles Between January And June 2004 - autojosh

BMW Group delivered a total of 2,555,341 BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce vehicles to customers last year, up +6.5 percent.

BMW brand sales reached a new all-time high of 2,253,835 units (+7.3%) last year, up +92.2% percent.

The MINI brand sold a total of 295,474 vehicles (+0.9%) while Rolls-Royce Motor Cars delivered 6,032 luxury cars.





The BMW Group says it delivered a total of 2,555,341 BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce vehicles to customers last year – which is a new all-time sales and a solid year-on-year sales growth of +6.5 percent from the 2,521,525 sold in 2022.

In the fourth quarter, BMW Group sales climbed to 718,778 units, up +10.3% on the previous year. The BMW, Rolls-Royce and BMW Motorrad brands have also reported new record highs in 2023.

“Customers around the world appreciate our strong brands BMW, MINI, Motorrad and Rolls-Royce and in particular the choice of different drive technologies across the entire BMW Group product range”, said Jochen Goller, member of the Board of Management of BMW AG, responsible for Customer, Brands, Sales.

BMW brand sales reached a new all-time high of 2,253,835 units (+7.3%) last year, including 330,596 units of fully-electric BMW vehicles delivered to customers in 2023 (+92.2%).

The high sales was boosted by the strong demand for models in the upper price segment, such as the new BMW 7 Series and the BMW X7, as well as fully-electric models, including the BMW the iX1 and i4.





A total of 202,530 (+14.3%) performance and high-performance BMW M cars were sold in 2023, while the MINI brand sold a total of 295,474 vehicles (+0.9%) last year, with sales of fully-electric MINI models up 3.5% to 45,261 units.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has also reported the highest sales in the brand’s 119-year history, with 6,032 cars sold worldwide, thanks to high demand for all models, particularly Cullinan SUV and Ghost sedan.

The BMW Motorrad also reported its highest-ever sales with the delivery of of 209,257 (+3.1%) motorcycles and scooters to customers – thanks to high demand for the powerful M 1000 R and the iconic R 1300 GS touring enduro.

A total of 395,741 (+9.4%) BMW and MINI vehicles were delivered to customers in US between January and December 2023 while sales totalled 942,805 units in Europe for the full year 2023 (+7.5%).

In China, the BMW Group sold 824,932 BMW and MINI vehicles in 2023 (+4.2 percent) while 281,986 BMW and MINI vehicles were registered in Germany during this period.
