BMW Is Still The Industry Leader And Is Expanding Rapidly Worldwide
The first half of 2025 brought exceptional results for the BMW Group around the world, and the markets within the Importer Region for Africa and Eastern Europe (in which our market also operates) stand out in particular. Despite the challenging global geopolitical situation, this region recorded the fastest growth within the entire BMW network, with sales of BMW vehicles increasing by 40% compared to the same period of the previous year.
A significant increase in sales of BMW M models (+20%) was recorded, while electrified BMW and MINI models increased by an impressive 164%. MINI is seeing powerful momentum—overall sales are up 283%, while MINI EV sales are up as much as 802%.
With these results, this region has for the first time become one of the 10 largest markets within the BMW Group in terms of sales volume. With a cumulative share of 49.1% of electrified BMW and MINI vehicles (xEV), this region confirms the BMW Group’s global leadership in electrification.
Along with the sales results, BMW is investing strongly in the future: the new retail. The next concept will be implemented in more than 50 showrooms throughout the region by the end of the year, which represents a double increase compared to 2024.
On the domestic market, positive trends are equally pronounced. BMW remains the leader in the premium segment in Serbia and Montenegro, with sales growth of 36% in the first half of the year.
With a complete portfolio of available models and dedicated teams, BMW enters the second half of the year with clear ambitions and confidence in continued success.
