BRT Driver That Knocked Down And Killed Businesswoman Has Been Arrested

The hit-and-run Lagos BRT driver that absconded after killing a pedestrian has been arrested. The Lagos State Police Command made the announcement recently.
The driver’s name was given as Collins Nnodi. He went into hiding after the accident that killed a businesswoman, Grace Okeleke. She was knocked down around 7.20 pm by his BRT bus. The bus had the number plate EPE 59 XR. Okeleke died on the spot.
After ramming into her at the Agric area of Ikorodu, the driver of the BRT bus drove on without stopping.
Annoyed by the development, an angry mob vandalised some BRT buses plying the route.
The Lagos State Police Command has announced the arrest of the BRT bus driver. He has been in hiding after the incident that killed Grace Okeleke.

Primero Transport Services Limited is the franchise holder and operator of the BRT bus service in Lagos State.
The Chief Security Officer of the company, Cletus Okodolor, commiserated with the family. According to him, efforts was being made to bring justice to the victim.
On Monday, Okodolor reportedly revealed that the fleeing driver had been arrested, adding that his guarantor facilitated the arrest of Collins Nnodi.
Mrs Grace Okeleke was the wife of Andrew Okeleke, the Head Of Public Relations at Globacom.
