Other cars in Godswill Akpabio’s convoy includes police motorcycle outriders, luxury SUVs and pickup trucks.

Akpabio emerged as the President of the 10th Senate last month, defeating Ex-governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari.





Footage shared has captured the presidential-like convoy of the 15th president of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, while departing the National Assembly complex after work hours.

The convoy of the country’s number three citizen consists of his official car, an armored Mercedes-Benz S-Class ultra-luxury sedan, police motorcycle outriders and several SUVs, including Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.

Godswill Akpabio emerged as the President of the 10th Senate last month, defeating former Governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari, who contested for the position against the former Akwa Ibom governor.

Speaking after his victory, Akpabio promised that on resumption, the 10th parliament would give their support to the President on the work he has started already.





“I think the President has already started, ours is to back him and to support his actions for the betterment of the country. So, for now, the parliament on resumption will also lend our voice to what we have seen so far,” Akpabio said.

“He has taken the right steps, the stock market is rising and a lot of people are excited with the steps he has taken so far, we are also happy. There is a renewed hope not just in terms of the economy, but in terms of stability of the country, it will affect all facets of life including security.”
