Crime-free Yuletide : Rapid Response Squad (RRS) Lagos Command conducts convoy patrol across major roads in the state.

Convoy patrol, led by CSP Egbeyemi, reached Agege, Oshodi, Mushin, Lagos Island, Lekki and Ikorodu.

CSP Egbeyemi says effort is to warn criminals of the squad’s readiness to uphold the laws of the state.

The Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command on Friday conducted a convoy patrol across major roads in the state as part of efforts to reduce crime during the festive period.

The exercise was led by Commander RRS, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi. Photos from the patrol exercise shared on the official Facebook page of the Lagos State Government, was captioned with :

“As part of efforts to re – energize its squad and reduce crime during the festive period, Commander RRS, CSP Yinka Egbeyemi today led a team of RRS policemen on convoy patrol of Agege, Oshodi, Mushin, Lagos Island, Lekki, Ikorodu and other parts of Lagos State.”

“The effort is to further re-assure members of the public of adequate security during the yuletide as well as warn criminals of the squad’s readiness to uphold the laws of the state.”

“CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi said that In line with the commitment of the Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and that of the acting commissioner of police, DCP Waheed Ayilara the exercise would be a continuous one.”
