Land Rover Defender parked next to its Chinese-made lookalike – the Jetour T2 – can you differentiate which is which?
Both the Defender and the Jetour T2 features an exterior side-mounted storage box (some models) and similar rear end.
Defender differentiate itself with circular headlights with “signature detailing” while T2 features a Quad LED headlights, wide front grille.
Reborn Land Rover Defender starts from $56,900 while Jetour T2 starts at $24k (about ₦80 million in the Nigerian market.

The latest-generation Land Rover Defender (L663) and its Chinese-made look-alike and rival, the Jetour Traveller T2, have been captured parked next to each other in a lone picture seen by Autojosh.
From afar, an untrained eye will definitely take the Jetour T2 for the redesigned Defender SUV due to its uncanny resemblance to the British-made off-road-ready SUV.

While both features an exterior side-mounted storage box (some models) and similar rear end, the Defender differentiate itself with circular headlights with “signature detailing” while the T2 features a Quad LED headlights with a wide front grille.
Priced from $56,900, the reborn Defender SUV comes in three different body sizes — the 2-door 90, 4-door 110 and the most luxurious and the longest of the range, the stretched “Defender 130”.

Marketed in several markets since 2023 – including in Nigeria from 2025, the Jetour T2, is available in standard Beyond and Terrain models while the more rugged Terminator variant is available in some markets.
The price of Jetour T2 ranges between $24,000 and $29,000 i.e nearly half the price of the base Defender. In the Nigerian market, T2 is priced between ₦80 million and ₦90 million as seen on Jiji – African online marketplace.
