South Africa Police VIP Protection Services to use 70 Jetour T2s as convoy vehicles during G20 Summit.
During the 2-day event taking place from 22–23 Nov, T2s will be used to transport dignitaries between their respective hotels and venue.
Partnership confirmed during the launch of Jetour T Series on 24 October at the Grand Parade in Cape Town.
At the event, the Chinese SUV brand officially handed over the seventy T2 SUVs to the Government Departments.
Jetour said partnership will further showcase T2 as a powerful and comfortable car for VIP transport.

Jetour, the Chinese SUV brand which launched in South Africa last year, has announced that South African Police Service (SAPS) VIP Protection Unit will use seventy (70) Jetour T2 SUVs as convoy cars during the G20 Summit in Johannesburg.
During the two-day event taking place from 22–23 November 2025, SAPS VIP Protection Services will use the T2 SUVs to transport Foreign Ministers and dignitaries between their respective hotels and the Nasrec Expo Centre, where the G20 Summit is being held.

The partnership was confirmed during the launch of Jetour T Series on 24 October at the Grand Parade in Cape Town, where Jetour officially handed over the T2 SUVs to the Government Departments.
“This partnership will further showcase Jetour’s new T2 as powerful, comfortable and technologically advanced, making it ideal for VIP transport,” Jetour said in a statement.
“The T2 features panoramic cameras, parking sensors, and tyre pressure monitoring, ensuring safety and situational awareness during convoys.”
“Spacious, quiet cabins with ergonomic seating and high-end infotainment systems provide comfort for dignitaries, with the high ground clearance, and multiple driving modes allowing reliable performance across city streets and varied terrains.”
