FBI, Ghana Orders Dealerships To Return 95 Luxury Cars Stolen From US, Canada – See Lists Of Cars
Ghana Law Enforcement Agency (EOCO) orders car dealerships to return 95 luxury cars stolen from US, Canada.
Some of cars on the lists includes Mercedes-Maybach S-Class’, Bentley Continental, Mercedes-Benz S-Class’ and E-Class’.
Otters are Porsche Panamera, Cadillac Escalade SUVs, Maserati Levante, Toyota Highlanders and Lincoln Navigator.
Last year, EOCO, FBI and RCMP managed to retrieve 37 luxury vehicles from Ghana stolen from USA, Canada.
In 2019, security operatives intercepted over 900 stolen vehicles which the syndicate tried ship into Nigeria and Ghana.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in partnership with the Ghana’s law enforcement agency, the Economic and Organised Crime (EOCO), has identified more than 100 luxury vehicles stolen from the United States and Canada that are on sale in Ghana.
This was announced in a tweet posted to the official Twitter handle of the US Embassy in Ghana on May 9th 2023.

Recovery of the stolen vehicles began after an investigation by Mariana van Zeller, a journalist for National Geographic Channel, exposed how cross-border carjacking syndicate traced to Ghana operate.

The Executive Director of EOCO, COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah had earlier in a statement urged members of the public return all 95 stolen luxury vehicles before May 3, 2023 deadline.
In the statement, Addo-Danquah said that the law enforcement agency had secured court order to freeze all the stolen cars. EOCO also published the list of the frozen 95 stolen cars that were yet to be returned.
Some of cars on the lists includes Mercedes-Maybach S-Class’, Bentley Continental, Mercedes-Benz S-Class’ and E-Class’, Porsche Panamera, Cadillac Escalade SUVs, Maserati Levante, Toyota Highlanders, and Lincoln Navigator just to mention but a few.
