First City Monument Bank (FCMB) founder and Rolls-Royce collector, Otunba Subomi Balogun dies at 89.
Until his death, he was known to be a lover of Rolls-Royce cars, owner of more than ten of the British-made hand-built cars.
The Asiwaju of Ijebu Christians has been spotted in his 2014 Rolls-Royce Phantom sedan on many occasions.
He also own the latest Rolls-Royce Phantom 8 limousine worth over N500 Million.



Otunba Subomi Balogun, the founder of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has reportedly passed away in London on Friday morning at the age of 89.
The Ijebu-born business magnate, who pioneered Icon Securities as director of operations, ventured into several commerce and economics firms before establishing FCMB in 1979.



Until his death, Otunba Subomi Balogun was known to be a lover of Rolls-Royce cars, a passion that saw him own more than ten of the British-made hand-built cars both at his home in Nigeria and abroad.
The Asiwaju of Ijebu Christians, one of few silent Nigerian billionaires who love to spend big on luxury cars, has been spotted in his 1st-Gen Rolls-Royce Phantom 7 and the 2nd-Gen Phantom 7 on many occasions. He also own the latest Rolls-Royce Phantom 8 limousine worth over N500 Million.
