First pictures of Nord’s ultra-modern auto assembly plant built inside UNILAG main campus in Akoka, Yaba. 

President Buhari is expected to commission the auto assembly plant on Thursday November 10th, 2022.

Nord will use the plant to train to students the act of car assembling, repair, service and maintenance of automobiles.

First pictures of the ultra-modern auto assembly plant built by Nigerian automaker, Nord Automobile Limited, inside University of Lagos (UNILAG) main campus in Akoka area of Lagos has emerged online.

While we still have to wait for the official commissioning of the ultra-modern auto assembly plant on November 10th to see the auto assembly line, pictures shared in a tweet by Ovie Ali Onovwo-Omasoro, shows the exterior part of two buildings, which will likely houses a showroom as well as the ultra-modern plant.

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to officially commission the ultra-modern auto assembly plant on Thursday November 10th, 2022.

The auto plant, a mutually beneficial relationship between Nord and UNILAG, will allow willing and qualified students of the school to get practical training in the act of assembling of cars, repair, service and maintenance of automobiles.

Nord Automobile Limited, owned by Ajayi Oluwatobi, is a Lagos-based Nigerian automotive manufacturer. Its operations focuses on assembling, distribution, marketing and provision of sales and after-sale of premium vehicles at relatively competitive costs.

Nord’s lineup of Nigerian-branded vehicles include the Nord Tank pickup truck, Nord Max, Nord Tusk, Nord Flit, Nord A3 Sedan, Nord A5 SUV, Nord A7 SUV, Nord Yarn and Nord Tripper.
