Hyundai Ioniq 9 Wins World Best Large SUV At The WWCOTY
The Hyundai IONIQ 9 all-electric SUV has won the prestigious title of World’s Best Large SUV at the Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year (WWCOTY) Awards 2026. This recognition further confirms Hyundai Motor Company’s continued commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability in the large SUV segment.
An expert jury composed of 84 female automotive journalists from 54 countries, spanning five continents, conducted a detailed evaluation of vehicles across all categories, taking into account key criteria such as safety, quality, design, performance, ease of use, environmental impact, and value for money. IONIQ 9 stood out from the competition of almost 20 other models, confirming its status as an exceptional representative of its class.
“The Hyundai IONIQ 9 clearly shows how advanced technology and everyday usability can work perfectly together. Fast and efficient charging, an extremely spacious interior, and a high level of overall quality set a new standard in the large electric SUV segment. This award also confirms Hyundai’s consistent commitment to innovation and excellence, as this is not the first time our jury has recognized this brand,” said Marta Garcia, Executive President of Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year.
