Innoson Donates Vehicles, Motorcycles to Ooni of Ife To Mark His 8 Years On The Throne
Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing donates vehicles, motorcycles to Ooni of Ife to mark his 8 years on the throne.
The 49 year old traditional ruler, who received his staff of office on 7 December 2015, is the 51th Ooni of Ife.
Ooni of Ife will reward the most outstanding personnel with car, while other deserving staff members will get motorcycles.

Indigenous automaker, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing, has presented IVM-branded vehicles to Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, to mark his 8-year reign on the throne. The 49 year old King, who received his staff of office on 7 December 2015, is the 51th Ooni of Ife.
The vehicles, which included an IVM Smart and an IVM Shuttle as well as three Innoson motorcycles, were handed over by Innoson Head of Corporate Communications, Cornel Osigwe, who represented the Chairman, Chief Dr. Innocent Chukwuma.


As a prominent sponsor of the Staff Appreciation Day/Award Night, Innoson Vehicles’ contribution will enable the Ooni of Ife to reward the most outstanding personnel with a brand new Innoson car, while other deserving staff members will get motorcycles as a token of appreciation.
During the presentation ceremony, the Ooni of Ife expressed his sincerest gratitude to Innoson Vehicles and emphasized the need for the government’s support in promoting domestic vehicle manufacturers like Innoson.
Ooni of Ife urged the authorities to prioritize the purchase of 70% of vehicles from Innoson, to help bolster the Nigerian economy and strengthening the Naira against foreign currencies. The Ooni underscored the significance of endorsing locally-made products to stimulate economic growth.
