Innoson G80 luxury SUV spotted in a convoy used by a Nigerian Army General. The convoy also included a Toyota Land Cruiser SUV.

On Thursday, Nigerian Army Commander of the Infantry Corps, Major General SO Olabanji, commissioned the newly built Headquarters Infantry Corps & Center, Administrative Battalion office complex, Jaji Military Cantonment, Kaduna.

But, what really turned eyes at the event was the Innoson G80 SUV. The Luxury SUV was among a convoy that also included a Toyota Land Cruiser.

Before now, top millitary officer’s prefers a convoy that included only Toyota Land Cruiser Sports Utility Vehicles.

According to Innoson, the 5-seat IVM G80 luxurious SUV, unlike any SUV, owns the road.

The unamoured version of the G80 has a base price of ₦27,825,000. It comes with superb blend of advanced technology, bold styling and powerful performance.





Powering the Innoson G80 is Mitsubishi 4G69S4N (2.4L) Petrol engine that pumps out the power of 161 horses. It has a top speed of 99mph.

Recalled that the Nigerian Army and Innoson Motors signed agreement and partnership towards manufacturing of locally made military equipment and vehicles for the army.

Since then, the Nigerian Army has
acquired and deployed over 70 variants of the IVM G12 Utility Vehicles.

This acquisitions comes after the three IVM G12 Utility Vans that innoson donated were tested and found suitable at the North-east terrain.

IVM G12 is currently being used by the Nigerian Army as a troop and cargo transport, command vehicle and reconnaissance vehicle
