Jeep Again Recalls Over 200,000 SUVs In The U.S
Jeep is recalling over 200,000 U.S. vehicles due to a software glitch that can cause the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) to fail, potentially leaving drivers unaware of low tire pressure and failing to meet federal safety standards.
The vehicles affected include the Wagoneer and Grand Cherokee due to a software glitch in the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The defect prevents the system from detecting low pressure or triggering a warning, violating federal safety standards. Dealers will provide free software updates to affected owners starting September 29, 2026.
Additional models affected include over 57,000 Grand Cherokee L units, 526 Grand Cherokee PHEVs, 3,046 Grand Wagoneers, and various Wagoneer L and specific 2026 wxbni-qszo units. Owners will be notified starting September 29, 2026, and dealers will provide free software updates to resolve the TPMS issue.
