This Impressive Mitsubishi Engelberg Tourer Concept Could Be The Spiritual Successor To Discontinued Pajero
Mitsubishi Engelberg Tourer Concept unveiled in 2019 may reach production line as the spiritual successor to the old and discontinued Pajero/Montero SUV.
Last September, Nigerian dealership Massilia Motors says it will stop the sale of Mitsubishi Pajero SUV 2021.
It follows the decision of the Japanese automaker Mitsubishi to stop the production of the model from 2021.

Back in September, 2020, Massilia Motors, the sole distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Nigeria, says it will discontinue the sale of Pajero SUV in the country, starting 2021.
It follows the decision of the Japanese multinational automotive manufacturer, Mitsubishi, to stop the production of the model from 2021 due to declining sales.

The Mitsubishi Pajero SUV had a successful 39 years run and more than 3.3 million global sales since its arrival in the market in 1982.

The discontinuation of the Pajero didn’t come as a surprise ever since Mitsubishi revealed an all-new Engelberg Tourer Concept SUV at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show.
Named after a ski resort in Switzerland known for its grand panoramic vistas, the next-generation plug-in hybrid SUV has been captured undergoing testing on unfriendly terrains, including the freezing snowfields.

According to reports, the upcoming SUV will likely arrive this year or early 2022 because of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
Mitsubishi hasn’t confirmed if the Engelberg Tourer Concept will make it to the production line, but its likely the impressive concept will be the spiritual successor to the old Pajero/Montero SUV.
