NBS : 757,341 Vehicle Number Plates Were Produced In 36 States Of Nigeria In 2019
National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, says a total of 757,341 Vehicle Number Plates were produced in 36 states of Nigeria and Abuja in 2019.
A breakdown of the statistics showed that 387,202 number plates were made for Motor vehicles; 369,178, went to motorcycles; and 961 number plates went to Reprint.
A vehicle number plate, also known as a vehicle registration plate, is a metal or plastic plate attached to a motor vehicle or trailer for official identification purposes.
Last year, a total of 757,341 vehicle number plates were produced in the 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, between January and December.
This was disclosed in a statement issued earlier this week by the National Bureau of Statistics.
According to the statistical body, 387,202 number plates were made for Motor vehicles; 369,178, went to motorcycles; and 961 number plates went to Reprint.
A total of 757,341 Vehicle Number Plates were produced in 36 states of Nigeria and Abuja in 2019.
