Nissan Ariya & Pavilion Win iF Design Award

The all-new Ariya electric crossover and the Nissan Pavilion have won the iF Design Award in Germany, Nissan announced today. They were recognized following a thorough assessment based on five criteria: concept, form, function, distinction, and impact.
The Ariya is a cutting-edge crossover SUV that highlights Nissan’s electric car competence. It has simple yet modern appearance based on Nissan’s distinctive concept of “Timeless Japanese Futurism,” which is packed with innovative technologies.

The Nissan Pavilion, which was available for a limited period in 2020, allowed guests to immerse themselves in and experience the future of mobility. The building’s design and the new Nissan logo that adorns it represent Nissan’s notion that a strong belief can even penetrate the sun. During the digital global premiere, the new logo was also unveiled on the Ariya, which was unveiled at the Pavilion.
The iF design award, founded in 1954 by iF International Forum Design GmbH in Hannover, Germany, is one of the world’s most prominent design prizes.
An independent panel of 132 design experts examined 10,776 goods and projects from 57 nations in this year’s competition.
