Ram Rampage Set For European Debut

A fresh and surprisingly compact pickup truck is set to make its debut in Europe, and it’s coming from none other than Ram. This exciting arrival promises to blend the rugged durability for which Ram is known with a sleek, modern design that’s perfect for navigating urban environments.

Ram is primarily known here for its large pickup trucks like the 1500, which are by European standards. This pickup truck, the size of the Ford F-150, has a more compact cousin in Brazil: the Rampage. Ram has announced that it will also be launching the Rampage in Europe. With this model, Ram aims to meet the “changing demand” of European consumers for “the perfect balance between a car for everyday use and robust versatility.”

Compared to a Ram 1500, the Rampage is indeed not as large, but it’s certainly not small. Developed and produced in Brazil, the Rampage is 5.03 meters long, 1.89 meters wide, and 1.78 meters high. Its wheelbase is almost 3 meters. Unlike its larger sibling and pickups like the Toyota Hilux, the Rampage doesn’t have a ladder-type frame but a monocoque body. In Brazil, the pickup is available with a 272 hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine. Diesel versions are also available with a 2.0-liter or 2.2-liter four-cylinder Multijet diesel engine.

It is not yet known when the Ram Rampage will be released in Europe.
