Ellison had also owned an Acura NSX known for its blend of everyday usability with supercar performance and a Lexus LS 460.

Tech billionaire and Oracle software co-founder Larry Ellison’s wealth jumped by $101 billion to $393 billion in one day, surpassing Elon Musk’s to briefly claim the title of the world’s richest person on Wednesday.

“It’s the biggest one-day increase ever recorded, and put him ahead of Musk for much of the day before the Tesla Inc. CEO edged back into pole position by $1 billion,” Bloomberg wrote.

Just like any other wealthy people around the world, the 81-year-old uber-billionaire owns multiple superyachts, a fleet of private jets, a Mikoyan MiG-29 fighter jet, and a collection of rare automobiles.

Over the years, Ellison’s personal car collection have included rare exotics cars such as the Ferrari Enzo and a limited-edition Lexus LFA, one of only 500 units produced by Toyota luxury division from 2010 to 2012.

His collection had also featured a Ferrari Testarossa and one-of-106 McLaren F1, the latter which he owned from 1997 until 2005. His former F1 came up for sale last month and was expected to fetch in excess of $23 million ($23,000,000 USD) during the prestigious Monterey Car Week in August 2025.

Ellison had also owned an Acura NSX known for its blend of everyday usability with supercar performance. According to Luxury Launches, he so much loved Acura NSX that he bought a few units every year for 15 years.

He had also been pictured entering a silver Lexus LS 460 ultra-luxury sedan. Powered by a powerful 4.6-liter V-8 engine, the LS 460, which won the 2007 World Car of the Year award, is known for its smooth ride and quiet cabin.
