The Toyota Land Cruiser has finally returned back to North American market nearly three years after the popular nameplate was discontinued in the United States due to falling sales.

Unlike the latest-generation LC 300 Series that arrived in 2021 to replace the LC 200, the new retro-style 2024 Land Cruiser for the U.S.-market is the less expensive Prado version with shorter Wheelbase and smaller engine.

In addition to featuring different styling from the larger Land Cruiser 300 based on Toyota’s GA-F platform, the US-Market 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser 250 won’t be an off-roading king like the version available for the Global market.

But Toyota notes that the US-Market 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser will be sold in select international markets as the Land Cruiser Prado, including Australia and likely Nigeria.
