US Police couldn’t chase down a thief who escaped with a stolen $500k Rolls-Royce Phantom 8 ultra-luxury sedan.
During the pursuit on Wednesday, the suspect used different tactics to evade the police while powering Rolls-Royce.
Rolls-Royce was stolen on Tuesday. Owner had been tracking the vehicle and giving information to California Highway Patrol.

The driver of a stolen Rolls-Royce Phantom 8 led Police authorities on a high-speed pursuit on Wednesday (today) before apparently escaping with the ultra-luxury sedan through a parking garage in downtown Los Angeles.
During the police pursuit in Los Angeles, the suspect used tactics that can only be seen while playing ‘Need for Speed: Most Wanted’ to evade the police while powering Rolls-Royce Phantom that has a top-speed of 155 mph.
According to ABC7 report, the Rolls-Royce was stolen on Tuesday, adding that the owner, who had been tracking the vehicle, gave the information to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
Footage of the high-speed pursuit taken by a tracking police helicopter was posted to ABC7 YouTube channel.
In the video, the suspect, who was desperate to escape, was seen performing several dangerous high-speed maneuvers that almost ended in a collision with vehicles and pedestrians.
As of this writing, neither the suspect nor the stolen six-figure Rolls-Royce Phantom 8 ultra-luxury sedan have been found, according to ABC7.
The heavy but luxurious Rolls-Royce Phantom 8 worth $500,000 (or about ₦500 Million in Nigeria) before options isn’t designed to be raced or chased on.
The flagship sedan is powered by a nearly silent 563-hp twin-turbo V-12 engine that allows the limousine to reach 60-mph in 5.1 seconds and a top-speed of 250 Km/h (155 mph).
