2027 Mercedes C-Class Facelift Revealed With S-Class Tech & Grille

The ICE-powered C-Class Sedan and Station Wagon have received a comprehensive upgrade, nearly four months after the first-ever battery-electric variant of Mercedes‑Benz’s best-selling model series made its debut as the “sportiest C‑Class ever.”
Dubbed the “mini S-Class,” the new 2027 Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W206 facelift) launches in both standard Sedan (W206) and Estate/Wagon (S206) layouts, offering a wide range of electrified, high-tech gasoline, diesel, and plug-in hybrid powertrains.

The front now adopts a larger, upright, S-Class-style radiator grille—which is illuminated for the very first time—while the headlights and taillights get three-pointed-star graphics directly integrated into the revised LED daytime running lights (though the Wagon retains standard taillights).
Inside, the new C-Class features two screens as standard: a 12.3-inch screen acting as a standalone, floating digital instrument cluster, and an 11.9-inch portrait-oriented central touchscreen used to control all vehicle functions, including infotainment and climate controls.

Optional packages include the Burmester 3D surround sound system with Dolby Atmos, 15 speakers, and a 710-watt amplifier—which elevates the audio experience in the C-Class to a new level.
For the first time, the AMG Line Plus is available for the C-Class. When ticked, this package adds a tailpipe trim and spoiler lip in high-gloss black, the Night Package, sports seats featuring red topstitching, and red seat belts.

The new C-Class is offered in seven core powertrain variants across petrol, diesel, and plug-in hybrid options. Petrol variants include the C 200, the C 250, and the most powerful option, the C 300. In the latter, the engine develops 190 kW (258 hp) and a rated torque of 400 Nm.
The C-Class plug-in hybrid models combine a four-cylinder gasoline engine with a powerful electric motor. Both the C 400 e 4MATIC sedan and the C 400 e 4MATIC estate develop a system output of up to 290 kW (395 hp) and a system torque of up to 650 Nm.

Now available to order from August 18th (today) in Germany, the updated C-Class starts at €48,844 (~$53,700 USD) for the base sedan and goes up to around €60,000–€62,000 (~$66,000–$68,200 USD) for higher trims and estate models.
“With its sporty elegance, electrified powertrains, and intelligent support through MB.OS, it offers what drivers truly need: proven reliability and innovative technology that creates real added value in everyday life,” said Mathias Geisen, who is in charge of Sales & Marketing.
