A lot of us who play video games know that there are spare lives stacked up in case something goes wrong. These spare lives can be used to continue the mission.

In real life scenarios, it is very much different, there is no spare life; we’ve all got one. Mess with it and you’re gone. You’ll just fade off.

We should be very careful when we drive in order to prevent the unforeseen negative circumstances as much as possible.

We bring to you some car and safe driving tips you should practice in order to minimize the rate of accidents, loss of lives and properties.

1.  Do not overspeed
This is known to be one of the major causes of road accidents. Over-speeding kills especially in this country with bad roads that the government is not bothered about.

Over-speeding makes it difficult to control your vehicle in case there is an emergency.
Some people clock very high speeds with the belief that their car’s ‘hi tech’ have them safe.

The result of over-speeding can be catastrophic, learn how to drive carefully within a reasonable limit. Don’t speed more than you can control.

2. Do not manage car faults.
One thing about cars is that all its systems are interwoven. One thing is connected to another and they work in unison to bring about the car we drive. It is bad to manage a fault in your car.

A fault you might consider to be minor can result to a major failure that won’t spare your life.

We all know the economy is a tough one, but you should try as much as you can to be on the safe side.

3. Do not drink and drive.
If you must drive, do not drink. We are not talking about fanta or sprite, we are talking about alcohol.

Alcohol intake might result to drunkenness. When you are drunk, you don’t have all your senses with you and you respond slowly to what is happening around you. Being drunk reduces the rate at which you react.
Alcohol and driving is like fire and fuel, when they meet, the outcome is a disaster.

4. Avoid driving under fatigue.
This is directed more to commercial and government official drivers. In a bid to make more trips in a day, they overwork themselves and hence, fatigued; they hardly rest or take breaks.

Driving tired can be equated to driving drunk, since your reflexes won’t be sharp enough to react. Don’t drive while you’re on cold or flu medication since most of these medications are made to put you to sleep

You won’t go free if you try to cheat nature, it will come for you.
Ensure you take enough rest before you embark on journeys especially the long ones.

5. Don’t overload your car.
Almost every car comes with the maximum weight it is meant to carry. This can be seen in the user manual of your car. They are clearly written so you don’t overwork the car or make it prone to accident.

Overloading a car can alter a lot of things about the car. It can result to abrupt weight transfer, increase in the stopping distance of your car and dynamic imbalance.

6. Make sure your headlight is bright enough for night driving.

7. Ensure your wiper is okay for rain

8. Learn to horn and flash your light at the other driver to call his attention to something he/she is doing wrong.

9. Stop kissing and romancing your wife while driving. Haba, wait until you are off the wheels.??

10. Don’t fight your passenger or trade insults with him or her while driving, it will lead to driver’s loss of concentration and hence accident. This applies mostly for commercial commuters.

11. Stop looking at those girls walking on the road side with massive ikebe, they will kill you before you know it. Concentrate on your driving.???
