Wizkid Didn't Buy N1.4B Ferrari On Credit Or Rented It, He Paid The Full Price - Car Dealer 'Polanco' Clarifies - autojosh

Wizkid didn’t buy N1.4B Ferrari SF90 Stradale on credit or rented it, he paid the full price – car dealer ‘Polanco’ clarifies.

The Lagos-based luxury car dealership urged the general public to disregard any information suggesting otherwise.

Polanco Exotic Cars has dismissed the rumour circulating on social media alleging that Wizkid purchased a Ferrari SF90 Stradale sports car from the Lagos-based luxury car dealership on credit.

In a statement, Polanco Exotic Cars noted that the award-winning Nigerian musician didn’t rent the Italian sports car either, adding that Wizkid paid the full price for the Ferrari SF90 worth around N1.4bn.

“OUR ATTENTION HAS BEEN DRAWN TO NEWS CIRCULATING ON SOCIAL MEDIA SUGGESTING THAT ONE OF OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS, MR. AYO BALOGUN, ALSO KNOWN AS WIZKID, EITHER PURCHASED A FERRARI SF90 STRADALE ON CREDIT OR RENTED IT FROM US.”

“WE WISH TO CLARIFY THAT MR. AYO BALOGUN DID NOT RENT THE VEHICLE AND THAT HE PAID THE FULL PURCHASE PRICE. HE IS NOT INDEBTED TO US IN ANY WAY. WE KINDLY ASK THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO DISREGARD ANY INFORMATION SUGGESTING OTHERWISE,” Polanco added.

Autojosh last December first reported that Wizkid splashed a fortune on a brand 2022 Ferrari SF90 sports car to celebrate a successful 2023. The SF90 joins luxury cars in his collection, including a Lamborghini Urus and at least three Rolls-Royce Cullinan ultra-luxury SUVs.

When it first arrived its massive showroom, Polanco noted that this particular example comes with Assetto Fiorano specification, a track-focused set-up with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres designed specifically to improve performance on the track in dry conditions.

Powering the mid-engine Ferrari SF90 Stradale are three electric motors and a twin-turbocharged V8 engine, a setup that gives a total 1,000 PS (986 horsepower) and allows the sports car to reach 0-60 mph in under 2.5 seconds and a top speed over 339.6km/h (211 mph).
