1) Don Jazzy

In November, Nigerian record producer and singer, Michael Collins Ajereh, professionally known as Don Jazzy, took delivery on brand new Rolls-Royce Phantom 8 EWB, Range Rover Autobiography LWB and a Cadillac Escalade 600 SUV.

Don Jazzy’s latest cars worth over N2.5 billion was shipped to Nigeria and personally delivered by US-based auto dealer, Mr. JAY AUTOS LTD, who is also singer Davido’s go-to guy in terms of car purchase and customization.

2) Ebenezer Obey

Nigerian juju musician, Professor Evangelist Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi, known professionally as Ebenezer Obey, in July acquired a brand new Chevrolet Suburban full-sized ultra-luxury SUV.

It comes three months after marking his 82nd birthday at a well attended event held on April 3rd at the DECROSS Gospel mission in Lagos, where he was reportedly presented with a brand new Mercedes-Benz.

In November, Texas-based Nigerian auto dealer, known simply as Mr. Jay Autos gifted afrobeat superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, an ultra-luxury Cadillac Escalade 600 SUV as birthday gift.

The lavish gift is a form appreciation for Davido’s purchases from Mr. Jay Autos this year, including a Tesla Cybertruck and a Rolls-Royce Spectre Electric Coupe.

4) Burna Boy

Also in December, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy, picked up his brand new Ferrari Purosangue SUV at Polanco Exotic Cars, a Lagos-based luxury car dealership.

It will be recalled that the Afrobeats artiste, splashed on a brand new Rolls-Royce Cullinan ultra-luxury SUV earlier this year in March.

5) Rema

Earlier this month, Nigerian rapper and singer, Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema, splashed over ₦700 million naira on yet another luxury car, a Bentley Bentayga EWB SUV.

The 24 year singer had earlier in March 2024 spent over ₦700 million Naira on a two high-performance ultra-luxury SUVs – a Mercedes-AMG G63 and a Lamborghini Urus.

6) Omah Lay

Also in November, Stanley Omah Didia, known professionally as Omah Lay, has reportedly splashed over N600 million on two brand new Tesla Cybertruck ultra-luxury pickup trucks.

Lay’s latest purchase was made known by US-based Nigerian Car Dealer, Mr. JAY AUTOS LTD, who shared photos and video of the opulent rides on its Instagram page and asked his followers to guess the buyer’s identity.

7) Timaya

Back in April, music star, Inetimi Alfred Odon, better known by his stage name Timaya, became the first Nigerian to buy and own Tesla’s futuristic luxury pickup truck, Cybertruck.

Pictures on his Instagram page seen by Autojosh shows the Bayelsa-born singer striking different poses with the hulky, black-out Tesla Cybertruck.

8) Naira Marley

2023 Cadillac Escalade 600

In August, a brand new 2023 Cadillac Escalade 600 ultra-luxury SUV worth ₦240 million joined the collection of cars owned by Nigerian musician, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley.

Naira Marley’s latest car was purchased from popular Nigerian luxury auto dealership, AbujaCar, who posted pictures of the ride on its social media platforms.

9) Wizkid

McLaren 750S

Award-winning Nigerian musician, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid, also splashed over ₦1.7 billion on a brand new 2024 McLaren 750S Spider (Convertible) sports car.

10) Seyi Vibez

In May, Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi, known professionally as Seyi Vibez, also splashed out Four hundred and fifty million naira (₦450 million) on a Lamborghini Urus SUV.

Seyi Vibez shared the news of his latest acquisition on his Instagram Story with a video showing the moment the Lamborghini SUV was delivered to his residence.

11) Zlatan Ibile

Nigerian music star, Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, known professionally as Zlatan Ibile, also splashed out on a customized Mercedes-Maybach ultra-luxury van to celebrate his 30th birthday.

The Zanku crooner’s latest purchase comes few months after acquiring a brand new Lamborghini Urus SUV worth over ₦600 million.
