13-yr old destroys Lamborghini Huracan during test-drive after convincing a car seller he was old enough to drive.

Investigators believed he was doing about 100 km/h (62 mph) when he lost control of the high-performance sports car.

Luckily, he made it out of the crash with no injuries, according to the police, who arrived the scene and found the car empty.

Teen charged with four separate driving offences under the Motor Vehicle Act, including speeding, driving with no driver’s licence.

A deceitful 13-year-old boy destroyed a Lamborghini Huracan after convincing a car seller he was old enough to drive before crashing the $500,000 sports car during a test-drive on a rainy night.

Police said that the unnamed teenager met with the car seller for a test-drive, who was hoping to find a buyer for his red Lamborghini Huracan sports car worth around $500,000.

After the owner handed over the keys to the potential buyer on March 25th 2024, the teenager and his pal then took the sports car for a spin before crashing it into a ditch off the Trans-Canada Highway.

The two underage luckily made it out of the horror crash with no injuries, according to the police, who arrived the scene soon after the crash at around 11pm and found the car empty.

Investigators, who later found the 13-year old at his residence a short distance away, believed he was doing about 100 kilometres per hour (62 mph) when he lost control of the high-performance car.

West Vancouver Police Sgt. Chris Bigland told North Shore News:

“We do not believe that the registered owner was aware of the true age of this young person, or that they were unable or were not licensed to drive in British Columbia.”

“It does not appear that the registered owner maybe asked an extra couple of questions to establish that this was a wise choice.”

“The driver’s inability to manage the vehicle in the weather conditions at the speed that they were operating at was a significant contributing factor,” he said.

The teenager has been charged with four separate driving offences under the Motor Vehicle Act, including speeding, driving without due care, failure to remain at the scene of a collision, and driving with no driver’s licence.
