1,500-hp Bugatti Chiron versus 750-hp 2011 Red Bull F1 car – see who wins in a quarter-mile drag race.

Red Bull was the first F 1 team to unveil its new world champion RB19 car for the 2023 season.

Will it be yet another win for 2022 F1 champion Max Verstappen’s Red Bull Racing this year?

This year’s 2023 FIA Formula 1 World Championship season kicked off on Sunday 5 March 2023 (today) at the Bahrain Grand Prix as Milton Keynes’ Red Bull Racing hopes to defend both F1 world titles.

Red Bull, officially known as Oracle Red Bull Racing, was the first Formula 1 team to unveil its new world champion RB19 car for the 2023 season in an event in New York. Their mission – to defend the title!

Following pre-season testing, 2022 F1 champion Max Verstappen said the new RB19 is ‘100%’ better than last year’s championship-winning RB18 race car that won a staggering 17 races out of 22.

Will it be yet another win for a Red Bull Racing this year? To celebrate the return of the Formula reason, Autojosh throws it back to a drag race between 750-horsepower Red Bull F1 race car versus 1,500-horsepower Bugatti Chiron.

So, who wins the quarter-mile race as well a mile race organized by Carwow.com, an online marketplace for buying and selling new and used cars?

Is it the Bugatti Chiron – a straight line king that reaches 1/4-mile in 9.6 seconds or Red Bull’s 2011 world championship winning race car that reaches the same distance in 9.2 seconds.

Speaking on Red Bull’s new car which world champion Max Verstappen, teammate Sergio Pérez and well-known newcomer Daniel Riccardo will ride this year, Oracle Red Bull Racing Team Manager, Christian Horner said :

“The new RB19 builds on the strengths of our previous world champion car. We incorporated everything we learned from the RB18.”

“We did really well in 2022. So, there’s no reason to mess with the car too much. But it is harder to stay world champion than to become world champion.”, Max Verstappen added.
