2025 Was Bugatti’s Most Successful Year, Highlighted By Record-breaking Car Production, 20 Years Of Veyron
2025 was Bugatti’s most successful year, highlighted by record-breaking car production, 20 years of Veyron.
Last year, keys to the final open-top W16 Mistral alongside the Chiron-based Bolide were handed over to their new owners.
Other highlight include the unveiling of the “Programme Solitaire” that is dedicated to creating its bespoke, one-of-one vehicles.
During this period, the first Tourbillon customers also began customizing their future cars ahead of start of production this year.

Last year, Bugatti not only marked 20 years of the limited-edition Veyron 16.4 – the world’s first hypercar that remains a sought-after masterpiece by enthusiasts and collectors – but also recorded the highest number of cars built in the brand’s history.
2025 also signaled the end to the legendary W16 engine first used in the Veyron after keys to the final open-top W16 Mistral alongside the Chiron-based, track-focused Bolide hypercars were handed over to their new owners.

Another highlight in 2025 include the unveiling of the “Programme Solitaire” that is dedicated to creating its bespoke, one-of-one vehicles for the wealthy and its first creation – the Brouillard, which is limited to two unique masterpieces per year.
During this period, Bugatti also debuted the new Équipe Pur Sang Package, allowing the first Tourbillon customers to begin customization of their future hyper sports cars ahead of start of production this year at the new world-class Atelier.

“With the Tourbillon, Bugatti entered a new chapter that will unfold in 2026. This is a complete reinvention of what the brand has produced over the last 20 years,” said Mate Rimac, the CEO of Bugatti Rimac.
Like in 2025, this year will be filled with milestones for Bugatti as plans are on to mark the 100th anniversary of the the Bugatti Royale (Type 41) built from 1927-1933, as well as the 10th anniversary of the legendary Chiron.
