$2 Million+ Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 unveiled in 2021 hits the road for the very first time, acccompanied by its predecessor.
It was accompanied in its first ride by the first Countach LP 400 and the special-edition Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary.
There are only 112 units of the LPI 800-4, and they were all sold out before the car even premiered.
Owners will receive their extraordinary vehicles starting the third trimester of 2022.
The Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 has hit the roads for the first time since it was presented to the world at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering in the USA, in August 2021.
The latest generation of Countach was accompanied in its first ride by its predecessors — the very first Countach LP 400 and the special-edition Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary.
There are only 112 units of the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4, and they were all sold out before the car even premiered, despite the reported jaw-dropping price tag of over $2 Million+. According to Lamborghini, owners will receive their extraordinary vehicles starting the third trimester of 2022.
The limited-edition Countach celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of the iconic sports car that ruled the roads in the 70s and 80s.
The LPI 800-4 on the badge stands for Longitudinale Posteriore Ibrido (longtidunal, rear-mounted, hybrid) while the numerical suffix is the approximate value of the 814-horsepower and four-wheel drive.
Inside, it is furnished in red and black leather. The driving mode is selected directly from the central 8.4 “HDMI touchscreen that manages the car’s controls, including Connectivity and Apple CarPlay.
Powering it is Lamborghini Sian FKP 37’s 6.5-liter, 780hp V12 engine, coupled with a 48-volt electric motor mounted directly to the gearbox providing an additional 34hp.
The combined 814 horsepower allows Countach to do a 0-62 mph sprint in 2.8 seconds, 0-124 mph in 8.6 seconds and a top speed of 220.5 mph (355 km/h).
