Toyota’s new Crown made its world premiere on July 15. The new Crown, which has evolved from a sedan into four variations, will be available in three grades : XLE, Limited and Platinum.

The 16th generation of the Japanese flagship model will be offered in approximately 40 countries and regions.





Nord And UNILAG Sign MoU To Set Up An Automobile Manufacturing/Assembly Plant

Nord Automobile Limited and UNILAG sign a MoU to develop and set up an Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly hub in the University of Lagos campus, Akoka.

The partnership between Nord and UNILAG will not only allow students to see how vehicles are made, but will also allow them to be part of the production process.

Suzuki By CFAO Partners Automedics To Train Female Auto Technicians

Suzuki by CFAO Nigeria and Automedics signs strategic partnership agreement that aims to train Female Auto Technicians in Nigeria through the Suzuki Empower Her program.

The free Suzuki Empower Her (SEH) training will last for four months, beginning on August 1 to November 2022.

Mercedes Deliver 490,000 Cars Betw. April-June





Demand for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars remains high with 490,000 units (-16%) delivered between April to June (Q2) of 2022.

During the same period, Mercedes-Maybach AND flagship S-Class achieved their best-ever sales for a Q2 after delivering 4,400 (+25%) and 21,700 vehicles respectively.

IGP bans use of SPY number plates

The Inspector-General (IGP) of police, Usman Alkali Baba, has ordered a total ban on the use of Police SPY Vehicle Number Plates across the 36 States of the Federation and Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

He said the ban is without exception, adding that all SPY plates currently in use would be confiscated. The police boss said the order is to forestall the continuous disregard for traffic rules and regulations.
