Heritage Customs Unveils Valiance Convertible, An Open-top Land Rover Defender 90
Dutch Coachbuilder, Heritage Customs, unveils Valiance Convertible, a limited-edition open-top Land Rover Defender 90 SUV.
Heritage Customs’ Defender 90-based Valiance Convertible is a specially designed for open air driving and off-roading adventures.
Each SUV will feature a semi-electric roof, Magic Metal packs and handmade enamel Heritage Customs logo’s on side and back.
Pricing of the Valiance Convertible starts at $90,400, excluding the donor Land Rover Defender 90, which has a MRSP price of $57,800+.
$90,400 Conversion costs include cutting the roof of the donor Defender 90, Heritage Customs wheels 22” or 20” and AT3 tyres.



Dutch coachbuilder, Heritage Customs, has unveiled limited-edition Valiance Convertible, which is an open-top and a more heroic version of the latest-generation 2-door Land Rover Defender 90 4×4 SUV.
Heritage Customs’ Valiance Convertible is a specially commissioned, coachbuilt Defender 90-based open-top SUV designed for open air driving experience and off-roading adventures.






“Every element of Valiance Convertible has been carefully and meticulously designed with [a] love for detail.
“Owners will find details and parts in their Valiance Convertible that have never been seen on a Defender before,” says, Niels van Roij, the co-owner of Heritage Customs, whose London-based Niels van Roij Design has offered coach-built Adventum Coupe two-door Land Rover Range Rover in the past.
Made exclusively as an open top vehicle, each of the first generation Convertible conversions will feature a semi-electric roof, Magic Metal packs for interior and exterior and handmade enamel Heritage Customs logo’s on side and back.




Each tailor-made SUV will take at least three months to build. Pricing starts at €82,500 ($90,400), excluding the donor vehicle, the two-door Land Rover Defender 90, which has a MRSP price of $57,800+.
The conversion costs include cutting the roof of the donor Defender 90, Heritage Customs wheels 22” or 20” and AT3 tyres, full leather upholstery conversion as well as Heritage Customs sportseats (optional).
