After 25 Years, The Last Audi TT Sports Car Rolls Off Assembly In Hungary

After a 25-year run, the final Audi TT sports car rolls off the production line at the Audi Hungaria assembly plant in Győr.
Painted in Chronos Gray Metallic, the last example of the Audi TT will become part of the Audi Tradition collection.
During its production run, a total of 662,000 TT Coupé and TT Roadster models were built exclusively at the assembly plant in Győr.
Introduced as a Concept car in 1995, the Audi TT entered production as a Coupé in September 1998, followed by a roadster in August 1999.
After a 25-year run, the last Audi TT sports car has rolled off the production line at the Audi Hungaria assembly plant in Győr, where production started in 1998 with the series production of the Audi TT Coupé.
Painted in Chronos Gray Metallic, the last example, presented on the factory floor of the assembly plant in Győr alongside early concepts and its predecessors, will become part of the Audi Tradition collection.
During its 25 year production run, a total of 662,762 units of TT Coupé and TT Roadster models were built exclusively at the Audi assembly plant in Győr. In addition to the TT, Audi also produces the Q3 and Q3 Sportback models in Győr.
Earlier this year, Audi launched a special edition model in select market to bid farewell to the Audi TT model. First introduced as a Concept car in 1995 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Audi TT entered production as a Coupé in September 1998, followed by a roadster in August 1999.
The second-gen Mk2 was launched in 2006 while the latest and current generation, the Mk3, arrived in 2014. During its 25 year run, the Audi TT Sports Car has been available as a 2+2 coupé and as a two-seater Roadster.
