Bugatti Built A One-off Veyron Grand Sport L’Or Blanc Made From Porcelain But Never Revealed The Buyer

Bugatti built a one-off Veyron Grand Sport L’Or Blanc made from porcelain but never revealed the buyer.
1,000-hp hypercar named L’Or Blanc or white gold because it shines brilliantly like a white gold when the sun shines on it.
Veyron Grand Sport L’Or Blanc is the first car to have a bodyshell and interior fitted with high quality porcelain elements.
Just like some of its exclusive creations, Bugatti didn’t reveal the customer who commissioned the Veyron Grand Sport L’Or Blanc.
But the automaker said that the price of the one-off hypercar is €1.65 million (or about $2.4 Million at the time of reveal).
Back in 2011, Bugatti unveiled the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport L’Or Blanc, a one-of-a-kind version of the record-breaking Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport that features high quality porcelain both on the inside as well as on the exterior.
The one-of-a-kind Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport L’Or Blanc is an extraordinary collaboration between Royal Porcelain Factory (a firm that makes expensive tea pots) in Berlin and the French hypercar maker.
“At first, it seems to be an unusual idea to use porcelain in a car, especially in the world’s fastest convertible,” comments Dr. Stefan Brungs, the then Director of Sales and Marketing at Bugatti Automobiles.
“But this is what Bugatti stands for : the realization of exceptional ideas whilst striving for the utmost in quality and aesthetics. This allows us to continue Ettore Bugatti’s heritage, who himself loved to experiment with new materials.”
