Mercedes-Benz is bringing a series of exciting updates to its 2025 lineup. The German automaker is adding larger batteries to its popular EQE and EQS sedans.

The EQE 350+ and EQE 500 will now come with a 96-kilowatt-hour battery, a decent upgrade from the previous 90.6 kWh. This promises a significant boost to the EQE’s range, potentially exceeding 531 km on a single charge.

The EQS sedan also receives a battery upgrade, going from 108 kWh to 118 kWh. Although Mercedes-Benz has not yet released official EPA range figures, estimates suggest the EQS 450+ could achieve an impressive 612 km on a single charge. Combined with revised regenerative braking software, the EQS might top the range test charts next year.

Mercedes-Benz is also sweetening the deal for EV buyers with attractive incentives. Customers can choose between a $1,000 credit on their Mercedes Me Charge accounts or a complimentary home wall box. This initiative aims to make the transition to electric mobility smoother and more convenient. The updated EQE and EQS sedans are expected to hit US dealerships in the first half of 2025.
