Peugeot Upgrades Its Landtrek Pickup For The 2025 Model Year

Peugeot has modernized its Landtrek pickup, with which it wants to strengthen its international presence, especially in Africa, the Middle East, and South America.

As stated, Landtrek responds to all needs through a wide selection of engines with 4×2 or 4×4 drive, three basic configurations, and versions for professional and multi-purpose use (professional and recreational).

The 2025 Landtrek model year gets a different front grille with a new Peugeot emblem in the centre. There are also claw-shaped LED daytime running lights, which provide a distinctive and technological light signature. The design prioritizes efficiency and robustness with a reinforced lower front section and new glossy black fog light frames.

The rear features a new bumper and new PEUGEOT lettering on the tailgate between the LED taillights with a 3D effect. The double-cab version is 5.33 meters long and 1.92 meters wide. Ground clearance, depending on the version, is 214 mm (16-inch wheels) to 235 mm (17 and 18-inch wheels). The vehicle has a payload of 1400 kg and a towing capacity of 3500 kg.

The modern design continues in the cabin, with a 10-inch central touchscreen offering an optimised user experience, allowing direct access to an intuitive infotainment system. In addition, the screen interface is now compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. There’s also a new 7-inch digital instrument cluster, as well as a steering wheel that features adaptive cruise control controls and a new Peugeot emblem. The new 2.2 Multijet diesel engine with 200 hp and 450 Nm can be combined with a 6-speed manual or the new 8-speed EAT8 automatic.

The range also includes a 1.9-litre diesel engine with 150 hp and 350 Nm of torque (paired with a 6-speed manual) and a 2.4-litre gasoline engine with 210 hp and 320 Nm (available with manual or 6-speed automatic). The Landtrek, with its 2.2 Multijet 200 HP engine, is equipped with 4-wheel drive for greater safety and efficiency on all types of terrain. It has four driving modes to adapt to any use, both on and off-road: Normal, Sport, Snow, and Sand.

The vehicle can be equipped with one or four cameras to facilitate urban and off-road manoeuvres. The off-road camera and 360° panoramic view help the driver navigate around obstacles or through narrow passages.
