Peugeot Has Received 50,000 Orders Of The New 3008 In Just Two Months
The French are apparently just catching up with the third generation of the 3008. Just two months after the launch, Peugeot can boast that it has already received 50,000 orders through its network of concessionaires across Europe. A quarter of the vehicles ordered are E-3008 electric models, mostly with top GT equipment.
The compact fastback SUV is currently available across the EU market with two powertrain variants. The fully electric variant offers a 210 hp engine and a 73 kWh battery, while the mild hybrid 136 e-DCS6 attracts customers who choose the best of both worlds, counting on low consumption.
The full momentum of the 3008 will be captured when the plug-in hybrid 195 e-DSC7 is added to the range, as well as two electric versions with a 98 kWh battery – Long Range with 230 hp and an autonomy of 690 km, and the most powerful version of 320 electric horses with integration all-wheel drive. Namely, this is the first version of the French SUV that will not be produced with a diesel engine, and with which the 3008 has gained millions of customers across Europe.
This success underlines Peugeot’s aim to support its customers in their entry into electromobility, bringing to market vehicles that meet their needs. Especially since within 50,000 orders, every fourth 3008 was with a purely electric drive, which is above the segment average.
Conceived, developed and manufactured in Sochaux, France, the attractive SUV embodies French technological excellence and raises previously imposed standards in the segment with its bold design and more advanced technology. In addition, the new curved panoramic i-Cockpit takes driving pleasure to a new level. An intuitive user experience, combined with an ergonomic control panel and digital controls, is enhanced by a wide range of connected services.
The new Peugeot E-3008 is equipped as standard with the Peugeot Allure Care program, which covers the electric motor, charger, powertrain and major electrical and mechanical components, guaranteeing them for 8 years or 160,000 km. So much in fact that the French manufacturer gives a guarantee on this assembly and threatening components.
