Bauchi State Governor distributes 186 vehicles to newly created emirates, chiefdoms and district heads.
Cars presented included GMC SUVs (14), Toyota buses (14) and Hiluxes (14), 144 Toyota Camrys allocated to district heads.

The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, on Monday April 13th 2026 distributed 186 vehicles to newly created emirates, chiefdoms, and district heads, as part of efforts to strengthen traditional institutions and deepen grassroots governance across the state.
At the event, held at the Government House, keys to GMC Yukon ultra-luxury SUVs (14 units), Toyota Hiace buses (14 units) and Toyota Hilux pickups (14 units) were handed out while 144 Toyota Camry sedans were allocated to district heads.

“I have distributed official vehicles to emirs and district heads across Bauchi State as part of my administration’s deliberate effort to strengthen grassroots governance and deepen community engagement,” the Governor said.


“While presenting these vehicles at the Government House to fourteen newly appointed emirs and over a hundred district heads, I made it clear that this initiative is aimed at enhancing their mobility, expanding their reach, and enabling them to carry out their responsibilities more effectively within their respective domains.”
“I remain committed to extending this support across both long-established and newly created emirates, chiefdoms, and districts, ensuring that governance in Bauchi State remains inclusive and aligned with our broader development agenda.”


“I also emphasized the critical importance of close collaboration with our traditional institutions in promoting peace, stability, and prosperity. I urged our traditional rulers to remain non-partisan, uphold the highest standards of integrity, and stay dedicated to their duties.”
Speaking at the event, the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, expressed deep appreciation and assured that the 186 vehicles would be used responsibly and for the benefit of the people.
