Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) announces April 2025 through March 2026 financial results.
Japanese multinational automotive manufacturer produces vehicles under Toyota, Daihatsu, Lexus Hino and Century brands.
Total sales reached 9,595,000 vehicles, increase of approximately 233,000 units compared to the same period last fiscal year.
Net revenues totaled $335.7 billion (+5.5%) while Operating income decreased from $31.3 billion to $24.9 billion).
Additionally, income before income taxes was $34.1 billion while net income decreased from $31.1 billion to $25.5 billion.
Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) sold approximately 9,595,000 vehicles from Toyota, Daihatsu, Lexus, Hino and Century brands between April 2025 and March 2026, an increase of approximately 233,000 units compared to the same period last fiscal year.
Of the total sales, North America region got approximately 2,934,000 vehicles (+231,000 units), customers in home country Japan had approximately 2,082,000 units (+91,000 units) while Europe got approximately 1,183,000 units (11,000 units).
Asia sales totaled approximately 1,759,000 units (-79,000 units) while sales in other regions (including Central and South America, Oceania, Africa, and the Middle East) totaled approximately 1,637,000 units (-22,000 units).
During this period, net revenues totaled 50.684 trillion yen ($335.7 billion), an increase of 5.5% while Operating income decreased from 4.795 trillion yen ($31.3 billion) to 3.766 trillion yen ($24.9 billion),
Additionally, income before income taxes was 5.152 trillion yen ($34.1 billion) while net income decreased from 4.765 trillion yen ($31.1 billion) to 3.848 trillion yen ($25.5 billion).
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, TMC estimates consolidated vehicles sales of 9.60 million units. Also, TMC forecasts net revenue of 51.0 trillion yen ($340b), operating income of 3.0 trillion yen ($20b), income before income taxes of 4.23 trillion yen ($28.2b), and net income of 3.0 trillion yen ($20b).
